Why doesn’t my CU692 LED’s fit in a Prescolite housing?

I purchased the CU692 LED Retrofit light kits (19) at Costco. I have Prescolite recessed fixtures. They dont have the clips on the side that you are showing in your directions. The standard socket slides up and down on one spring clip and the socket clips into the trim housing and then you push up the housing to the ceiling. Do you have any adapters or ideas or do I have to return the lights to Costco?Steve
